Ever wondered about beauty product expiration? Well, within this video I am going to let you know when you should toss it! This will probably be certainly one of my more lengthy and detailed videos but it is full of valuable information. This can mainly concentrate on makeup however i do touch a little on skincare, body wash and a few hair products.

Why it is important…

We’re all responsible for possessing old makeup and sweetness products. (I understand I am a complete hoarder with regards to my own stash). It may be disappointing to forget about something stopped or that you have only used a couple of times. However, for your very own safety you should toss expired products so you do not take on bacteria that can result in blemishes, irritations, infections along with a continuous cold/flu signs and symptoms.

How you can Check…

Among the simplest ways to see if an item has expired is searching for that open container symbol found on most beauty items. It’s termed as a PAO symbol which means the time After Opening. This determines how lengthy you’ve before the products expires once opened up.

GENERAL EXPIRATION FOR Beauty Items

(Check PAO First, Expiration Varies)

Mascara: 2-3 mos.

Liquid & Gel Liners/Cream Eyeshadows: 3-6 mos.

Pencil Eye liner: As much as 24 months

Liquid Foundation: As much as 12 months

Certain Cream, Stick Foundations, Concealers: Over 12 months

Face Cleansers/Body Wash/Scrubs: 1-24 months

Face Moisturizers/Face Lotions: 6 mos. to at least one year. (Ingredients Vary)
